Erinnerst du dich an deinen ersten Haarschnitt?
Wo hast du dir deine Haare schneiden lassen, als du jünger warst? “Erinnerst du dich an Astor Haircuts?

Jennifer Aniston may look like shes never had a bad day in her life, but even the actress – now co-owner of Living Proof – has had her share of nightmare moments. “I was obsessed with Valerie Bertinelli and I took a photo of her into a salon and came out with a mullet,” says Aniston. “That was not a good look for me.” I sat down with Aniston to talk about her famous hair, her best beauty tips, and the competition shes launching today with her hairdresser Chris McMillan. Do you remember your first haircut? “I had really long hair and my mom said, You cant cut it or do anything to your hair until youre 13. So I had bangs and long hair down to my butt. Of course, I turned 13 and all judgment goes out the window. I learned to stick with what looks good. Im not a big risk-taker.” Do any hair products bring back strong memories for you? “Aqua Net. It reminds me of the Palladium. Bad, bad teased hair! Oh and Aussie Scrunch from my 20s. The smell was so yummy, but you couldnt brush it for a week.” Where did you get your hair cut when you were younger? “Do you remember Astor Haircuts? Do they still have that on Astor Place? You should have seen the haircuts I had there.” When you found Chris McMillan, you became a bit of a hair icon. What was your favorite cut from him? “I loved when Chris cut my ass off in 2003. That was a fun haircut. But I was happy when they grew up. Theyre very low-maintenance.” Whats your secret to a good hair day now? “Well, a cut is a guarantee for a good hair day – but I usually resist that because Im so desperate to get my hair back from the damn bob McMillan gave me.” Have you ever tried at-home hair treatments? “Like mayonnaise in my hair? Ive done that. That doesnt come out. Ever.” Any other beauty secrets youve collected over the years? “Vaseline in your eyes at night. It moisturizes your lashes and the skin around your eyes. Drink water, water, water. Sleep, sleep, sleep. Those are the big beauty tips.” Do you have any hair icons yourself? “I always love
