This news is fair and too good to ignore. According to WWD, everyones favorite middle school brand, Limited Too, will rise from the ashes and debut a series of pop-up shops in New York City next month featuring a range of pink “back to school” items. If youre near Manhattan, you can check out and browse (perhaps nostalgically?) the merchandise at several locations: Fifth Avenue on August 6th between 59th and 60th Streets; Pioneer Square on August 7th and 8th; Union Square on August 9th; and the Flatiron District on August 10th. Everything you need to go back to school – or, lets face it, start over at work – will be sold, including clothing, accessories, notebooks, keychains, backpacks, and phone cases. Please note that only childrens clothing sizes are available, and all items are priced under $100 and consistent with the Limited Too brand. For fans of the limited edition, the announcement of the pop-up shop comes at the perfect time. Although the brand was relaunched in 2015 and introduced new products, the most weve done so far is a series of shiny tech accessories like phone cases and earbuds. But with the pop-up window, executives hope it will usher in a new era for the brand, one defined by a large online business and a relationship with Amazon. “People are asking us if weve ever welcomed the retail industry again,” marketing director Mohedaia explained to him WWD. “This is a good place to connect with a large customer base. We believe that if this experiment is successful, we may explore key markets [mobile pop-up windows].” We have a feeling it will go very well indeed. Feeling nostalgic?
